Walk This Way To Better Obedience is a Loose Leash Walking 6 week Workshop that focuses on peaceful, positive techniques to keep your furry friend by your side.  We will utilize fun games and activities, that build week by week, to help your furry friend stay close while walking.  At the end of this workshop, you will be able to enjoy leisurely walks with your dog even in distracting environments.

Course will cover the following:

​

• Your dog's attention on you will increase. 
• Your dog will learn how to walk nicely on a loose leash without pulling and you will learn how to respond should your dog pull or lunge forward.
• You will forge an improved relationship between you and your dog.

 

You will be left with the tools and knowledge to continue to work on these skills even after graduation.

You will also enjoy games and fun tricks in class and will be amazed at how quickly your dog learns!

Prerequisite and Requirements

​

• Class is open to all dogs of any age.

• This class is appropriate for people/dog friendly dogs only.

• Proof of current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, kennel cough) is required to participate 

• Dogs are required to wear a simple flat collar and standard 6 foot leash. Front fastening harnesses, such as the Easy-Walk, are permitted in class. Please, no retractable leashes, choke or pinch collars.
